Today at the gas station, I watched an old lady wash her entire car with the windshield squeegee. I don't think she even filled up her gas tank, she just washed her car. I've never seen that before, I guess there's a first time for everything. I just stood and stared, mouth agape. It was mesmerizing. She was so slow and so meticulous and so focused, it was incredible, like she's been doing it all her cheap-assed life.

Hey, it's Brandon!
About Me
I'm a 32 year-old dude who is happily married to his best friend in the whole world and just welcomed a beautiful little girl into our happy family. I love playing softball, basketball and soccer despite my amazing suckiness at all sports. I'm a shining example of what one can accomplish after six years of college without earning a degree.

I did this once.
I was driving back from a christmas party with a car full of friends. I swerved to miss a dog and ended up in the wonderful sand of the desert. I almost hit a pole. My car was COVERED in dirt. I cleaned it off with a squeegee.
I was sober.
That's awesome! I want to reward her ingenuity by buying her, well, a carwash. Sounds like she could use one. ;-)
Maybe she's protesting the banning of windshield washers in Italy?
Does the car actually get clean when it's washed with gas station squeegee water? I'd guess not.
I've never seen that either.
Hey, I'm from Ventura! I found your blog via "Chasing Vincenzo". Consider yourself blogrolled!
Omigosh--I didnt' know my grandmother was visiting in your area!!!
Anthony - I've done it in spots, but not my entire car. It didn't look like her car was really that dirty, just a light dusting.
Kapgar - Definitely, that water is almost always gross
August - I'm sure that was it. She definitely looked like she was up on the obscure laws of Italy.
RTK - That's what I was thinking. The water at that gas station is really gross.
II - VTA in the house! For a short time I wrote a Ventura blog, but I got bored and stopped. Thanks for the link!
Mouse - Me neither! She's nuts!
That's so funny. Gee, and I thought I was cheap! LOL
